Hello! I’m a D.C.-based documentary producer with more than a decade of experience across a wide range of projects. These days I lead a team of producers, DPs, editors, and animators to create documentary projects for Scripps News and our distribution partners as the director of our Longform unit. Our projects include the Emmy-winning In Real Life series, our gaming series Next Level, and our visual investigations series in partnership with Bellingcat. Our team’s projects have gained industry recognition from the News & Documentary Emmys, the Edward R. Murrow Awards, ONA, SEJ, and SPJ.

I’ve personally produced documentary projects on technology, nature, energy, and more across 4 continents. I’m a strong believer in the power of visual storytelling to open minds and change the world.

I grew up in central Texas and graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia, where I spent most of my days (and nights) at the student newspaper. Today, I’m based in the Washington, D.C. area with my wife and our dog.
